My top pick: Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown — it’s the safest bet for a truly family-friendly pool experience in NYC, plus the kind of service that keeps kids (and parents) happy.
The hotel is quite far from the downtown area, and you need to take a taxi to get there. I didn’t like the lighting in the hotel, as it felt too dim. The rooms are nice overall, but the lobby is...
We went here while our home had a plumbing issue. It was a perfect homebase for downtown during an annoying time. The staff was very nice and accomodating. Room was large and lovely.
Nice hotel. Lobby is a little cold in terms of indulgent welcome but practical in terms of business location. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Service was a little impersonal from time to time...
